A long tradition The Schüßler Award was started by company founder Willi Schüßler in 1995 and was conferred for the first time at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen University) Since then, it has been awarded every year in collaboration with the Faculty for Civil Engineering. The award honours students who distinguish themselves both by high academic achievement and by exceptional personal qualities. Its aim is to accompany young upcoming civil and industrial engineers on their path to obtaining their degrees and promoting their personality development. The Schüßler Award is endowed with a scholarship to finance a period of study abroad.
