The Benefits of Digitalisation

Digital Networking

Digitalisation changes the way people live, collaborate and communicate. At an early stage, we set up a department to deal intensively with digital networking in order to identify and address the opportunities and challenges as soon as possible.

On the Road to a New Planning Culture with BIM

Our focus all along is how to optimise the economic and ecological factors in the implementation of your construction projects. As a result, we combine analogue and digital approaches seamlessly and apply modern methods and the latest technologies in specific cases in order to constantly think about how to increase efficiency in collaboration – both internally and externally.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been a dominant topic in the construction industry for many years. We identified the model-based work methodology early on as a corporate objective and introduced it in Structural Engineering in 2006 and in Civil Engineering in 2013. However, BIM is only one aspect of a comprehensive digital network of information beyond the organisation and its locations. It is not simply a question of procuring new technical equipment or the obvious advantages of a digital 3D building models. It is all about establishing a new way of looking and thinking – in fact, it is leading to a digital planning culture.

New opportunities arise from intelligent digital networking. On this point, we are always delighted when clients challenge us and are prepared to resolutely tread this path with us.
