Active Culture of Know-how

Our driving force from the very beginning has focused on technical know-how coupled with a pursuit of innovation. Over all this time, our most valuable assets are the know-how and skills of our employees. This is why we pursue an active culture of know-how. We identify where specific know-how exists within our company, systematise it and place it at the general disposal of all company locations to promote a lively exchange of know-how – both in analogue and digital formats, in specific disciplines as well as across disciplines. For us, progress has top priority and this also includes an open, positive error culture. We are an active collegial network and question the status quo in order to achieve constant improvement in the professionalism of our engineering services.

Sharing and Exchanging Knowledge and Know-how

Programmes such as the Schüßler-Plan Academy and an extensive further training scheme support our employees in professional and personal development. Our e-Learning platform also offers Academy training courses and seminars online. At present, our online offering includes the BIM Basic Methodology Training according to VDI/BS-MT 2552 Sheet 8.1. Sharing knowledge and learning from one another in order to improve our overall performance is simply in our genes. We promote new talent both internally and externally, for example through our annual Schüßler Award. In collaboration with the RWTH Aachen University (Faculty of Civil Engineering), the award honours the best students of the year.

Our experts regularly share their expertise on focal topics and developments in the construction industry at events, in lectures and in publications. Our company magazine "plan" also contains articles on corporate focal points and on project insights.
