In May 1987, the contract for the general planning of the Offenbach city route led to the founding of the Schüßler-Plan company in Frankfurt. This heralded our subsequent expansion throughout Germany. A team of engineers, technicians and designers handled the first infrastructure projects in the Rhine/Main metropolitan area. In 2000, Schüßler-Plan was commissioned to execute the project management for extensions to Frankfurt airport. Since then, the company has been continuously engaged in the planning and coordination of construction works at Germany’s largest airport. Schüßler-Plan is involved in numerous infrastructure projects in the Rhine/Main metropolitan area. Complex major projects to assure mobility, such as the new Rhine/Main-Rhine/Neckar routes, the regional West bypass, the Wiesbaden urban railway and the general planning for all development and infrastructure measures in the Frankfurt Europaviertel, are only a few of the examples of our engagement. This was followed by urban high-rise projects such as the Westhafen Tower or the Eurotower which have distinctively shaped the architecture of Frankfurt’s banking and office districts.

Beginning in 1991, the company’s Frankfurt offices set up office locations in Munich, Dresden, Leipzig, Erfurt, Nuremberg, Karlsruhe, Ludwigshafen and Stuttgart, thus placing us in closer proximity to our clients and our projects in each region.
