Heinrich Campus Düsseldorf: Start of Shell Construction
Under perfect July weather conditions, shell construction commenced on schedule at the Heinrich Campus in Düsseldorf with the concreting of the 13,000 m² foundation slab. On the site of the former road traffic licensing office on the corner of Heinrich-Ehrhardt-Strasse and Rather Strasse, Quantum is developing a modern 7-storey office complex with two underground parking levels and a GFA totalling 70,000 m².
For this project, Schüßler-Plan is responsible for demolition, structural design, building planning of the foundation pit and the geotechnical investigations. The design concept for the structure, which is offset from the ground plan, comes from architecture firm meyerschmitzmorkramer. It was the winning design among entries to an urban development competition. Completion of the office complex is planned for the end of 2021.

Neuer Kanzlerplatz, Bonn: 3-D Structural Design
Opposite the former Federal Chancellery in Bonn, Art-Invest Real Estate is developing an office district on an 18,000 m² site at Neuer Kanzlerplatz. This will offer a cutting-edge working environment coupled with a range of gastronomic offerings. The design concept for the ensemble of buildings, which comprises three polygonal seven-storey structures, comes from the JSWD Architekten design office. A 28-storey high-rise building forms the cornerstone of the development, which will complete the so-called Bonner Hochhauskranz ("Bonn high-rise ring") in 2022.
Schüßler-Plan has been commissioned to complete structural planning for the demanding structural design work for this section of the project, with its solitary building rising to over 100 metres. The structural design work is performed completely in 3D.
