Oder Bridge Küstrin-Kiez

The Oder Bridge Küstrin-Kiez bridge can look back on an exceptionally successful year: no fewer than five national and international awards have recognised the structural quality and engineering innovation of the project – most recently on 5 December with the Brandenburg Building Culture Award 2025. This makes the bridge one of the most frequently awarded Schüßler-Plan projects of the year.

The numerous awards clearly demonstrate the high standards set by the project: the Oder Bridge not only connects two banks, but also shows how civil engineering, functionality and design can work together to create a sustainable and future-proof infrastructure.

Paula Wagenbach joins the management team

Paula Wagenbach joined the operational business of the Schüßler-Plan Group as of July 1st and, together with Christina Zimmermann and Nina Baden-Wassmann, will assume responsibility for Schüßler-Plan GmbH as Managing Partner. Together with Bernd Wagenbach and Marcus Geipel, she forms the management team of Schüßler-Plan Ingenieurgesellschaft Frankfurt.

Foundation of the Schüßler-Plan infratec

Schüßler-Plan has established the Schüßler-Plan infratec GmbH together with the swiss company RUBI Bahntechnik. The new company advises, plans and monitors all plants of technical equipment in the field of transport infrastructure, energy supply and communication technology.

With the new foundation, the Schüßler-Plan Group is expanding its range of services in the field of technical infrastructure and sets its own claim – to offer highly qualified, integral engineering service to the latest state of the art and from a single source – consequently.

Schüßler-Plan Reorganizes the Digital Business Field

Foundation of the Schüßler-Plan Digital

As society and engineering company we are in the midst of the digital transformation and are actively involved in shaping it. Our wide-ranging BIM know-how built up over many years increasingly determines the business field.

Against this background we founded the Schüßler-Plan Digital on July 1^st. A new business unit that is particularly responsible for the strategic further development of our digital range of services and offers our customers a digital and, above all, practice-oriented consulting, planning and management know-how.

New Headquarters for Global Corporation

Structural Engineering

In Ehningen near Stuttgart, a new headquarters is being built for the technology group IBM. The first two floors of the four new building sections are connected via a marketplace with a walkable green roof and provide space for a column-free event hall, among other things. Due to the slope of the site, the complex has several foundation levels. In cooperation with H+P Ingenieure, Schüßler-Plan has provided the structural engineering and is also in charge of the implementation planning. The start of construction is planned for April.

Closing the Gap in Berlin's Historical Centre

Inner-city Infrastructure

The new U5 underground railway section has been in service since the beginning of December 2020 and closes the gap between Alexanderplatz and Brandenburger Tor. The section route and the position of the three new stations required several special measures, for instance, constructing an excavation pit for the “Museumsinsel” using the protection of ground-freezing techniques. Schüßler-Plan was the lead company of the engineering consortium in charge of site management, construction supervision and project control.
