Competence and creativity are the pillars on which our group stands. Right from the beginnings, the willingness to take entrepreneurial decisions has been the driving force behind our growth. In 1958 civil engineer Willi Schüßler laid the foundation in Düsseldorf for what is now the consulting engineering group Schüßler-Plan Consult.

The development into an acknowledged engineering consultancy began with the conversion of Düsseldorf central station in the late 1970s and continued with the tunnel for the Rheinuferstraße, a true flagship project, and the expansion works at Düsseldorf Airport. Another milestone was the “City Tunnel” project in Offenbach, which led to the founding of the office in Frankfurt am Main in 1987.

Following German unification, companies were established in Potsdam and Berlin in 1991. The Schüßler-Plan Group has evolved into one of the leading independent consulting engineering practices in Germany and today consists of five companies under the umbrella of a holding company. With our acknowledged, comprehensive planning and consultancy skills we have always been able to win the trust of our clients.

Schüßler-Plan is a modern services provider with international operations. We maintain 14 offices in Germany and also have branches in Poland, Latvia and Sudan. This expansion of our presence has already led to contracts in the Ukraine, Russia, Romania and China.

Today, more than 400 engineers, designers and technicians are employed in the offices of Schüßler-Plan. Our highly qualified staff can provide a broad and ambitious spectrum of services: from consultancy and planning to the management and supervision of construction works in the civil and structural engineering, transport infrastructure, construction and project management, tunnelling and bridge-building sectors.
